“Lone Wolf & Cub” was inspired by the popular Manga series, created by the writer Kazuo Koike and the artist Goseki Kojima.
I used 3DS Max, Zbrush, and Photoshop to complete my latest personal project.
I rendered out the image in several different passes using mental ray and Scanline. A basic 3 light setup with Final Gather was used for rendering. Additional lights were used to create the volume light (along with some photoshop TLC).
